Manuscript Critique

I keep my eye on much of the same aspects as for editing (content, structure, clarity, flow, character development, plot development, etc.), but I do NOT make comments directly on the manuscript. I provide a critique letter of all the general points, giving suggestions for improvement when possible. This service is less detailed than a full developmental edit and does not provide suggestions for improvement of specific chapters or paragraphs.

The author and I will sign an manuscript critique agreement, which includes a Non-Disclosure Clause, before we begin working together.

My rates and turnaround times are as follows:

·        Up to 35K words    $300 (USD) with turnaround of 1 to 2 weeks

·        35.5K – 60K             $475 (USD) with turnaround of 2 to 3 weeks

·        60.5K – 80K             $600 (USD) with turnaround of 3 to 4 weeks

·        80.5K – 100K          $750 (USD) with turnaround of 4 to 5 weeks

·        100K – 115K            $925 (USD) with turnaround of 5 to 6 weeks
